I focus on telling stories of the Second World War and the Holocaust. I am a winner of numerous Forest of Reading and Children's Choice Awards across Canada, as well as the Jewish Book Council Award (U.S.), the Yad Vashem Award for Children's Holocaust Literature (Israel), and the Vine Award for Canadian Jewish Literature.”
